This
Update looks at Gender issues
and in particular the push to EDUCATE our children about
Gay relationships. It is quite scary!
Please Pray for our teachers and also our Education
Authorities
I have included articles from the USA that highlight
the strategic propaganda of their Homosexual movement
and the ways they have sought to change mainstream thinking
... also the powerlessness of one particular parent
who sought to remove his 6 year old from lessons on
homosexuality.
"As
Christians, we know that the sacredness of life is based
on God’s character—not our characteristics. We truly
are not our own; we were bought with a price. Knowing
this, we should not be cruel to anyone “different” from
us . . . including homosexuals. We must respond to them
in love, just as Christ did. Yet, showing kindness,
respect and love for others doesn’t mean we have to
affirm all that they do"

CHILDCARE
staff are using taxpayer-funded booklets to teach toddlers
about gay families.
A booklet called We're Here, used in more than 2000
children's centres, encourages staff to use stories,
books, posters, games and dolls to actively challenge
homophobia.
Suggestions
include:
CHANGING Father's Day to "A
Day for Someone Special".
USING the terms Partner A and Partner B on forms instead
of Mum and Dad.
TELLING children that "some families don't have dads".
The booklet has been slammed by the Australian Family
Association and the State Opposition as an assault on
parents' rights.
The We're Here booklet was funded by the City of Darebin
through a community grants scheme. It is distributed
by FKA Children's Services, which is funded by the State
and Federal Governments.
....
Also widely used is a collection of 10 laminated family
posters, one of which features two lesbian parents.
Australian Family Association president Bill Muehlenberg
said the material was taxpayer funded propaganda designed
to brainwash children.
In
August 2005, the Sydney Morning
Herald reported on the "furore"
that erupted when Carmel Tebutt, the NSW Minister for
Education [left]
banned
material that encouraged students to "imagine
they lived in a gay world"
A Daily Telegraph article by Bruce
McDougall entitled,
"School in gay class furore"was the catalyst
for concerned debates
around the nation with parents reacting strongly to
the idea of asking year 9 children being asked "to
.. visualise themselves being kissed by a member of
their same sex..."
They
were asked to think about
attending a school dance where everyone was gay and
they were the only heterosexual ..... "The
material ... referred to "girls dancing with other girls
and boys dancing with other boys, holding each other
close".
Questions
also included "What will you
do if your date starts snuggling up to you and tries
to kiss you?"
"What if they find out about
you [that you're heterosexual]. They might throw you
out or even beat you up - just for a laugh..... Some people say that it's a
sin to be a heterosexual.
"How do you feel when
you hear people in your church talking like this?"
The Telegraph declared this to be "brainwashing
and social engineering" Thank Goodness for Carmel
Tebbutt who was prompt to step in and ban its future
use saying, "This material is inappropriate
to be used in schools," she said. "I am advised it's
been used on one occasion in one school. It will not
be used again."
According
to SMH, "The key
source book for NSW state
school teachers, Talking Sexual Health, published by
the federal Department of Health, has several similar
exercises. ... It
suggests teachers give students various "scenario cards"
and they are to imagine being the person in the scenario.
Suggested scenarios include "a gay boy who is HIV-positive",
a "homeless young lesbian", a "young gay Asian boy"
and a "bisexual boy in a steady relationship with a
girl".
The
NSW Teacher's Federation
were determinedly critical of Carmel Tebutt's reaction
to the syllabus calling "the response of the government
as simply a disgraceful act of cowardice.." ...
they point out that the
"banned program resembles
the lesson plan
on 'Challenging Homophobia' published by the Tasmanian
Education Department on its website."(A
questionnaire used in this lesson plan is below)
Apparently the lesson title "Dealing with Difference"
and text for this was influenced by a publication called
"A Guided Journey" by US author, Brian McNaught.
NOTE
: Brian McNaught's websitedescribes
him as "the country's
leading corporate diversity consultant dealing with
gay issues in the workplace". The
New York Times labelled him "the
godfather of gay sensitivity training"

He is certified by the American Association of Sex
Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) as
a sexuality educator.
Two books
targetting 6 to 8 year olds are the third and fourth
books in the series developed by Learn to Include.
The
Rainbow Cubby House and Koalas on Parade,
depict same-sex parented families in everyday situations
– the focus is apparently on the children and activities,
not on the nature of the parent’s relationship.
The books were launched at an event hosted by the
NSW Teachers Federation on 11 February 2005.
The
Crime Prevention Division of the NSW Attorney General
Department says,"Evidence
suggests that balanced exposure to images of diversity
in the very early years of schooling, combined with sensitive
and supportive teaching, may be one of the best ways to
combat discrimination and homophobia, whilst being a tremendous
affirmation for children with same-sex parents (Crime
Prevention Projects Link)
Back
in February, Deputy Prime Minister, John Anderson spoke
out against the books saying they were "an
inappropriate use of children and of NSW taxpayers'
money."
"We
should be aware that some of these children who have
been the pawns in the midst of this adult ideological
battle may one day ask some very tough questions about
their treatment,"
he said. ("See
Jed's dads rile the minister by Kelly Burke, Education
Reporter, Feb 12, 2005, SMH).
Andrew
Stoner, Leader of the NSW Nationals, challenged Bob
Carr to ban these books saying, “The
books are clearly inappropriate for young children and
are an outrageous attempt to brain wash our kids.
“Our children should not be used in Labor’s social engineering
experiments.”
“…She
[Plibersek"s 4 year old daughter] sees these books as
great stories, and that"s why I think they"re such effective
teaching aids and that"s why I think kids will enjoy
them so much.”

QUEENSLAND
: Sexual Identity Modules (Years
1-10)
The
following is an excerpt from the Queensland Studies
Authority Sourcebook Module for Years 1-10 ... The text
is loaded with controversy ... What is most interesting
is that it is NOW
assumed that some people are BORN
Gay, despite the lack of evidence ... there is no consideration
given to thoughts that the homosexual lifestyle is one
that is CHOSEN ...
it is also clear that the christian voice is given little
respect :
Sexual identity and diversity
"... This module encourages young people to challenge
stereotypical thinking, in the process coming to understand
the social construction of concepts such as ‘normal’
and ‘natural’, particularly in relation to sexuality.
The development of sexual identity is a complex, lifelong
process involving the interplay of sex, gender and orientation:
sex refers to the biological characteristics of being
female or male; gender is the socially constructed norms
of masculinity and femininity; and sexual orientation
refers to a person’s basic sexual attraction to another
person
Our sexual identities are developed within a social
framework of heterosexual dominance. We are surrounded
by images and references almost exclusively heterosexual.
This creates an environment in which people can make
the assumption that everyone is heterosexual and those
who aren’t are abnormal or deviant. This assumption
is called heterosexism .... . The extreme outcome of
heterosexism is homophobia — a fear of homosexuality
in ourselves and others.
".... Narrow conceptions of masculinity and femininity,
a lack of role models, geographical or emotional isolation,
a lack of understanding, discrimination, harassment
and violence have a major impact on the health and wellbeing
of gay, lesbian, heterosexual and bisexual young people.
All young people, therefore, benefit from learning about
sexual identity — their own and others’. They need to
examine their values and attitudes and to consider the
effects of heterosexism, sexism and homophobia in the
community...."
Note :
There's a lot of information to plough through in this
Module ... questions are very loosely written ... with
a few gunpowder kegs amongst them ... for instance the
"Colony on the Moon" exercise creates
an imaginary environment where the majority of people
are gay or lesbian. Anyone with an alternate lifestyle
agenda to push could have a field day with this ...
".... A team of experts
from around the world has been brought together to set
up the experimental phase of the project. These people
are the best in their field — engineers, architects,
physicists, chemists, biologists, astronauts, geologists,
meteorologists, doctors, tradespeople, and support personnel
— and have passed the strict physical and psychological
requirements for living on the moon. The team is made
up of many different nationalities and ethnic backgrounds
and is evenly made up of females and males. Everyone
arrives on the moon and starts working on their various
projects.
After a few weeks of settling in and getting to know
each other they discover that the majority of the team
are homosexual (gay or lesbian).
The colony is run according to the same laws, rules
and regulations as on Earth but because the dominant
group is homosexual, not heterosexual as on Earth, the
social rules change slightly."
Tasmania : Heterosexual
Questionnaire
(Department of Education Website)
We
have highlighted this Questionnaire from the Tasmanian
Education Department's website before and include it again
in this update for new subscribers ... The Questionnaire
is part of the Education Department's resources on "adopting
an inclusive approach to sexuality education."
When
and how did you decide that you were heterosexual?
Is
it possible that your heterosexuality is just a phase
that you may grow out of in time?
If
you have never slept with a person of the same sex,
is it possible that all you need is a good gay lover?
Is it possible that your heterosexuality stems from
a neurotic fear of others of the same sex?
Do
your parents know that you are straight? When did
you tell them?
What
about your friends and room-mates?
Why
do you insist on flaunting your heterosexuality?
Can't
you just be who you are and keep it quiet?
Why
do heterosexuals place so much emphasis on sex?
Why
do heterosexuals feel so compelled to introduce others
into their lifestyle through constant scenes of heterosexual
sex in the media?
A
disproportionate majority of child molesters are heterosexual.
Do
you consider it safe to expose children to heterosexual
teachers?
Just what do men and women do in bed together?
How
can they truly know how to please each other, being
so anatomically different?
Despite
all the societal support for marriage, the divorce
rate and the rates of family violence are spiralling.
Why
are heterosexuals so incapable of forming stable relationships?
Statistics
show that lesbians have the lowest incidence of sexually
transmitted disease.
Is
it really safe for a woman to maintain a heterosexual
lifestyle and run such a high risk of disease and
pregnancy?
How
can you expect to become a whole person if you limit
yourself to compulsive, exclusive heterosexuality?
Considering
the menace of overpopulation, how can the human race
survive if everyone is heterosexual?
Could
you trust a heterosexual therapist to be objective?
Don't you feel that she or he might be inclined to
influence you in the direction of her or his own leanings?
There
seems to be few happy heterosexuals. Techniques have
been developed that might enable you to change if
you really want to.
Have
you considered trying aversion therapy? Would you
want your child to be heterosexual, knowing the problems
he or she is bound to face

: Father of 6 yr old Arrested over
Objections to Homosexual Curriculum
On April 27,
a Lexington, MA, parent, David Parker, was arrested
by the Lexington police and charged with "trespassing"
at his son’s elementary school during a scheduled meeting
with the principal and the town’s Director of Education
over his objections to homosexual
curriculum materials. Parker had asked for
notification and possible opt-out for his son for homosexual
curriculum or ad-hoc discussions by adults in his son’s
kindergarten class.
After several months of communication, he was repeatedly
told that his requests are "not possible." He finally
said he would not leave the meeting until this was resolved.
After being arrested and spending the night in jail,
Parker was arraigned on Thursday, April 28, in Concord
District Court. When he informed Judge Robert McKenna
that he had not been allowed to call his lawyer, the
judge scolded him for not being respectful. Parker was
released on $1,000 surety bond. A hearing is scheduled
for June 1. He was officially informed that he may not
set foot on any school property in Lexington, or he
will be arrested again for trespassing
Statement
by David Parker (April 27, 2005):
“I, David Parker, am the father of a kindergarten student
at Estabrook Elementary School in Lexington, Massachusetts.
Since the beginning of this school year, my wife and
I have learned that school materials and discussions
about gay-headed households/same-sex union issues have
been exposed to the children. There are definitive plans
to increase the teacher/staff/adult mediated discussions
of these subjects.
“We have officially stated on many occasions—to the
Lexington school administration—a request that we be
notified when these discussions are planned, and want
our 6-year-old opted out of such situations when arising
“spontaneously”.
“Our parental requests for our own child were flat-out
denied with no effort at accommodation. In our meeting
on April 27, I, insisted that such accommodation be
made and refused to leave the meeting room. I was informed
that I would be arrested.”

: Pro-Homosexual Lawsuit Trend in
Schools
A
17-year-old lesbian student in California has sued the
Garden Grove Unified School District in Orange County,
alleging she was unfairly disciplined for hugging and
kissing her girlfriend on campus. But
one pro-family attorney views the suit as an attempt
at social engineering through student activism.
handbook ...
According
to an ACLU press release, Charlene Nguon was told by
Santiago High School principal Ben Wolf that either
she or her girlfriend would have to leave the school
at the end of her junior year and attend a neighboring
school. She was also suspended for a week, says the
ACLU, and an invitation to her to join the National
Honor Society was rescinded. ... The ACLU lawsuit, filed
in federal district court in Santa Ana on behalf of
Nguon and the Gay-Straight Alliance Network, seeks to
clear any discipline from the student's record and to
create a district-wide policy and guidelines ensuring
equal treatment of homosexual students.
Lawsuits
Indicative of a Trend
Scott Lively is a Christian attorney in nearby Temecula.
He says he has noticed a trend during his years of
following lawsuits filed by homosexual students against
schools. The trend, he says, shows that the students
typically set up schools for litigation by intentionally
behaving provocatively on campus. This, Lively contends,
creates a no-lose situation for the homosexual students.
"They either win and usually get a settlement from the
school," the attorney says, "or even if the gay and
lesbian students don't win, they create a lot of pain
for the school officials who have to deal with the lawsuit."
According to Lively, such cases rarely ever make it
to trial because schools will "cave in and give ...
a fairly sizable award." He adds that "there's nothing
schools fear more than litigation."
In
a very real sense, he says, the homosexual students
are "setting up" the school. "They'll file a complaint
with the school saying that they're being harassed,
somebody's calling them names, or whatever; they'll
make several complaints," he explains. "Then they'll
file a lawsuit alleging that the school is not doing
enough to protect the gay and lesbian students from
harassment."
Lively says when homosexual students file such lawsuits,
schools are put in a no-win situation and often eventually
adopt a "sexual orientation" non-discrimination policy.
In order to win the Garden Grove case, says the attorney,
the school district must show
it has uniformly enforced a policy against public displays
of affection.

Media Progaganda Campaign

America will conquer its fear and hatred of Gays in
the 90s" (Penguin
Books)
The
following Quotes come from the
Article 8 Alliance website
article entitled.
"Putting strategies to
work: the homosexual propaganda campaign in America's
media"
NOTE : Marshall Kirk is a researcher in neuropsychiatry.
The book describes his co-author Hunter Madsen as having
received a doctorate in Politics from Harvard in 1985
and an expert on public persuasion tactics and social
marketing, who has designed commercial advertising on
Madison Avenue and served as a consultant to gay media
campaigns across the country, and appears frequently
on national media as an advocate for gay rights.
DESENSITIZATION
"We can extract the following principle for our
campaign to desensitize straights to gays and gayness,
inundate them in a continuous flood of gay-related advertising,
presented in the least offensive fashion possible. If
straights can't shut off the shower, they may at least
eventually get used to being wet. "
JAMMING
"The trick is to get the bigot into the position
of feeling a conflicting twinge of shame, along with
his reward, whenever his homohatred surfaces, so that
his reward will be diluted or spoiled. This can be accomplished
in a variety of ways, all making use of repeated exposure
to pictorial images or verbal statements that are incompatible
with his self-image as a well-liked person, one who
fits in with the rest of the crowd. Thus, propagandistic
advertisement can depict homophobic and homohating bigots
as crude loudmouths and assholes--people who say not
only 'faggot' but 'nigger,' 'kike,' and other shameful
epithets--who are 'not Christian.'
CONVERSION
"It isn't enough that antigay bigots should become
confused about us, or even indifferent to us--we are
safest, in the long run, if we can actually make them
like us. Conversion aims at just this .... In Conversion,
the bigot, who holds a very negative stereotypic picture,
is repeatedly exposed to literal picture/label pairs,
in magazines, and on billboards and TV, of gay- explicitly
labeled as such!--who not only don't look like his picture
of a homosexual, but are carefully selected to look
either like the bigot and his friends, or like any one
of his other stereotypes of all-right guys-- the kind
of people he already likes and ` admires. This image
must, of necessity, be carefully tailored to be free
of absolutely every element of the widely held stereotypes
of how 'faggots' look, dress, and sound. He--or she--must
not be too well or fashionably dressed; must not be
too handsome--that is, mustn't look like a model--or
well groomed. The image must be that of an icon of normality"

NOTE : First up here is a link to an article
from the Family Foundation
Website that comments on the strategies of GLSEN entitled
: Information
Alert: Homosexual group undermines parents and
also an article on Focus on the Family's New CitizenLink
website entitled : Homosexual
Agenda in Public Schools Marches Forward ...
Both speak of GLSEN's stunning progress in public schools
by shifting the debate away from parent authority to
sexual orientation, student safety, equal access, and
anti-discrimination.
GLSEN,
or the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network
are based in New York and have recently celebrated their
10th Anniversary.
Their
website states that they envision "a
future in which every child learns to respect and accept
all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender
identity/expression."
To
commemorate their 10th year Executive Director, Kevin
Jennings wrote :
One
Decade Ago...
The education community was in profound denial about
the very existence of LGBT students.
Fewer than a hundred gay-straight alliances existed.
Fewer than 2 million students attended schools where
harassment based on sexual orientation was prohibited.
In short, just about nobody cared.
“The Nineties” has already begun taking its own place
in the realm of popular culture nostalgia. The emergence
of LGBT rights issues into mainstream American politics
and culture was unprecedented during the nineties, and
yet the issue of safe schools environments for LGBT
youth was barely on the radar.
Today, ten years after we began our mission, more than
12 million students are protected by state laws.
Nearly 3,000 schools have GSA’s or other student clubs
that deal with LGBT issues.
Over fifty national education and social justice organizations,
including the National Education Association (NEA) have
joined GLSEN in its work to create safe schools for
our nation’s children through projects like “No Name-Calling
Week”.
When I think of all of GLSEN’s accomplishments, the
years have a way of blending together, the great victories
and depressing setbacks, our measured progress and ever-present
challenges, all interwoven into a textured fabric.
This fabric is our legacy and we should all rejoice
in its creation and take great pride in its strength.
In the midst of our celebration though, we should also
pause to recognize that despite the important progress
we have made, anti-LGBT bias is still pervasive and
endemic in our schools... 75 percent of America’s students
still do not have legal protections in place; More than
80 percent of our high schools still lack GSA’s or similar
student clubs;
Nearly 70 percent of high school students admit that
they personally use homophobic and derogatory epithets
frequently or often. Clearly, it is not yet time to
rest on our laurels. (Source

Sweden
: Banning Marriage!
Received
From Bill Muehlenberg :
Sometimes the enemies of all things decent, sensible
and right become so out-landish in their proposals,
you do not know if you should laugh or cry. But unfortunately
they often have access to power and influence, and can
be a real force for evil in the world.
Scandinavia
is a case in point, where progressivist, anti-family
policies have ruled for decades now...One
political party in Sweden aims to abolish marriage altogether,
and open up legal unions involving two or more people.
When we in Australia fought to save marriage from same-sex
couples, and warned that polyamory (group sex and group
marriage) was the next logical step, critics laughed.
But polyamory is where many of our intelligentsia are
leading us. (Still
don't believe me? Just do a google search on the term
- you will get 483,000 hits.)
And lest you still think I am just crying wolf, let
me tell you another story. A film maker emailed me today,
asking to interview me for a new documentary he is making
on (you guessed it) polyamory. He is quite serious about
he project, and wants my opinions (he is curious as
to why I might not think it is a great idea).
So be warned, the battle for marriage in the Western
world is not over, and the battle fronts are opening
up every day. Be on guard and be involved. I will keep
you posted on both these developments.
Article : "Party Aims
to Ban Marriage"
12 September 2005
The Feminist Initiative, which
expects more than 20% of the vote in next year's election,
claims marriage "is not about love, but about ownership".
FI founder Tiina Rosenberg, said: "Instead of marriage
we want to promote a co-habitation law that ignores
gender and allows more than two people in a partnership."
But she said in allowing relationships to involve more
than two people, the FI did not want Sweden to fall
back into a "patriarchal structure" with one man having
a harem of women. "A man who lives with eight women
in a patriarchal structure, where the man decides and
the women obey is not what we are aiming for," said
Rosenberg.
And in order to encourage men to vote for them as well,
the party's all-female board is also calling for the
introduction of a six-hour working day.
Background :
The Feminist Initiative is a feminist political party
in Sweden. The party was formed in 2005 and announced
on 9 September 2005 that it will put up candidates for
the 2006 parliamentary elections in Sweden. ... At
their recent launch the Media focussed on the "decision
to campaign to abolish marriage and the current state-recognised
cohabiting partnerships, and instead introduce a new
Cohabitation Act (Swedish: sammanlevnadsbalk) which
would encompass a new legal status for private relationships
between more than two people, irrespective of gender,
thereby legalising polygamy.
