Hamas Cleric Outlines World Program

For those who believe the Hamas war is only with Israel, think again! Last Friday a Muslim cleric and Hamas member of the Palestinian Parliament made a passionate announcement. He described Rome as the “capital of the Catholics, or the Crusader capital” and that city would soon be conquered by Islam.
Yunis al-Astal delivered his fiery sermon on Hamas Al-Aqsa Tv. He predicted Rome would be ‘an advanced post for the Islamic conquests, which will spread through Europe in its entirety, and then will turn to the two Americas, even Eastern Europe.”
Many Middle East peace negotiators choose to present the Hamas as primarily an antagonist of Israel bent on the destruction of the Jewish state. But the evidence suggests the goal spreads way beyond.
In his message al-Astal said, “Very soon, Allah willing, Rome will be conquered just like Constantinople was, as was prophesized by our prophet Muhammed,” he added.
Last year Al-Astal encouraged Palestinian women to martyr themselves through homicide bombing.
“When jihad becomes an individual duty, it applies to women too, because women do not differ from men when it comes to individual duties,” he said in an interview recorded June 23, 2007. In that same session he described Jews as ‘the brothers of apes and pigs.”
In his Friday sermon he went on: “Today, Rome is the capital of the Catholics, or the Crusader capital, which has declared hostility on Islam, and has planted the brothers of apes and pigs in order to prevent the reawakening of Islam.”
So he sees Israel as the obstruction to a world-wide advancement of Islam. The demise of Israel and the Jewish people is merely the first step in the plans of Islam.
“I believe that our children, or our grandchildren, will inherit our Jihad and our sacrifices, and, Allah willing, the commanders of the conquest will come from among them.”
‘Today, we instil these good tidings in their souls - and by means of the mosques and the Koran books, and the history of our Prophets, his companions, and the great leaders, we prepare them for the mission of saving humanity from the hellfire at whose brink they stand.”
So for those who believe the Middle East struggle is isolated just to that region. This speech is a wake up call!
