Documentary Claims Jesus was Buried in a Cave

Brace yourself for an onslaught on the basics of Christian belief.
Jesus' burial site has been discovered claims a new documentary. He was buried in a cave, they claim. The site discovered in 1980 is in Talpyott, a suburb of Jerusalem, the very suburb where I now live.
Media sources in Jerusalem claim `the discovery could shake up the Christian world, if it proves to be true.'
The report says coffins were found in a cave. Six of the ten coffins had carved inscriptions which gave the names: Jesua son of Joseph, Mary (the mother of Jesus), Mary (Magdalene), Matthew, Jofa (said to be Joseph, the brother of Jesus), and Judah, son of Jesua (film-makers claim he was the son of Jesus).
Professor Amos Kloner an internationally renowned Israeli archaeologist announced the findings in the cave about ten years ago. Back then he spoke about the inscriptions and what they were deciphered to say.
The caskets have been kept in the Israeli Antiquities Authority archives in Beth Shemesh. Now two of the caskets have been sent to New York where they will be displayed in their first public exhibition.
The film, which is certain to spark a storm, was produced by Emmy award-winning documentary producer Simcha Jacobovici and Oscar winning director James Cameron.
They are the first to make the claim the cave was the burial site of Jesus and His family. They say they consulted with scientists, archaeologists, statisticians, DNA specialists and antiquities experts.
The movie project has taken three years and traces the history of events since the Talpyott discovery was made thirty years ago.
The broadcast of the documentary is already scheduled for the international Discovery Channel, Britain's Channel 4, Vision (Canada) and Channel 8 (Israel).
The research and conclusions about to flood the world will claim Jesus did not rise from the dead but died a very human person.
It is my expectation as we enter into what many claim to be `the last days' threats of this kind will escalate. Believers will be tested to stand against those who delight to tear down the Truth of the Gospel.
It never ceases to amaze me how many people seek to `prove' what `really' happened 2000 years ago when we have evidence from eye-witnesses.
"We are witnesses of all the things He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They also put Him to death by hanging Him on a cross. God raised Him up on the third day and granted that He become visible, not to all the people, but to witnesses who were chosen beforehand by God, that is, to us who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead." (Acts 10:39-41)
The fact of the matter is the battle between this fallen world and the Kingdom of God. Proverbs 30: 5
"Every word of God is tested…"
Never be shocked or threatened when the Word of God is `tested.' It simply fulfils what God told us would happen.
The Word of God describes the challenge many will face as they are confronted by this new claim.
"If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10: 9)
There's the root of the contest written 2000 years ago. Some have discovered the Truth. He remains available to all who will seek Him but friends He was never locked away in a coffin.
