Please Pray for the Family of Detective Senior Constable Damian Leeding

His family are considering turning off life support for him, based on medical advice, sometime soon.

Please pray for those close to him as they deal with this terrible decision and come to terms with the tragedy.

Also for all others who are impacted by the weight and tragedy of this terrible loss.

Undoubtedly Police Officers across the nation will be stepping out into the day, today and for many others to come, with an added awareness of the dangers they face.

Brief Background (Courtesy of 9News) :

Detective Senior Constable Damian Leeding was shot in the face at the Pacific Pines Tavern on Sunday night (29th May).

He's been in the Gold Coast hospital in a critical condition.

Det Leeding's wife Sonya is also a Gold Coast police officer. They have two young children, baby Grace and two-year-old Hudson.

Three people have been remanded in custody over the shooting.
