Our Vision
Sentinels
Prayer Updates began in October 2001 with a vision
to highlight areas within Australian National
life that are in need of prayer.
We
focus on "Decision Makers," Our "International
Relationships" as well as "Topical"
Issues that affect the lives of our families and
future generations.
Our Police and Defence Forces are very important
to us also.
We
find ourselves in awe of the Lord's awesome strategies
in the earth today and truly believe that He has
placed His people in every dark place in the earth.
They
are silent witnesses to the Faithfulness of God
and a constant barrier of light in environments
that want to see them extinguished.
Surely
heaven will be full of amazing stories of those
who live, daily on FRONTLINE battlefields in places
like Iraq, Pakistan, China .... I am sure that
we will discover that their years of constant
witness has held back a flood of hatred that burned
with a great urgency to spread into all nations
of the world.
These
Frontliners, "Ambassadors in dark places"
are also strategically positioned in our Nation
drawing a line between good and evil and create
a barrier that stems the overflow of evil into
our communities.
Think
of those who are serving the Lord amongst Street
Gangs, in Prisons, Helping Drug Addicts, Exposing
Child Molesters, Opposing Hate Crimes ... Fighting
for lives in Emergency Rooms and Caring for the
Elderly and Frail, Caring for problem Teens and
the Homeless and those with Special Needs.
They
are everywhere in society, providing a constant
witness, including those who decide on National
Defence Strategies, Creating new laws, Opposing
ungodly legislation, watchdogs for the media ....
the list is endless!
These
Frontliners are central to the Link-Zone / Sentinels
vision. We are always looking for ways that we
can practically expand our ministry to be able
to encourage the body to support them |
