Bella - In Australian Cinemas February 21

From the Producer of The Passion of The Christ comes Bella - a story about friendship, family and our capacity for love in the face of the unexpected.

An international soccer star (Eduardo Verástegui) is on his way to sign a multi-million dollar contract when a series of events unfold that bring his career to an abrupt end. A beautiful waitress (Tammy Blanchard), struggling to make it in New York City, discovers something about herself that she's unprepared for. In one irreversible moment, their lives are turned upside down... until a simple gesture of kindness brings them both together, turning an ordinary day into an unforgettable experience.

Introducing BELLA

Bella1It’s not very often that a drama comes along that literally sweeps you off your feet and leaves you feeling deeply impacted in such a life affirming way. Bella is such a film. We are thrilled to be working with Hopscotch Films to introduce Bella to you.

Winner of the People’s Choice Award at the Toronto Film Festival, Bella is a beautiful story from The Producer of Braveheart and The Passion of The Christ – Steve McEveety. Steve’s thoughts on Bella are summed up well in his quote …

“The Passion showed how Christ died for us. Bella shows us how we should live for others.”

Critics agree – Bella is beautiful

"An unforgettable experience! A celebration of family, food, music and life-affirming values." Michael Medved

“A sweet life-affirming picture.” Los Angeles Times

“Powerful and moving… a true inspiration.” CNN

“The warmest family drama I’ve seen in years.”  Film Journal

An amazing opportunity coming to cinemas

Bella1Bella will be released in cinemas around Australia on February 21st. We are passionate about bringing films to cinemas that have the potential to move people towards God.

In recent days we sent out some 6000 resource kits to Churches introducing them to Bella. If you’ve not seen one and would like more information about Bella then please visit our website to watch and download the trailer, read about the film and find out more about group bookings.

Bella1We use the word ‘opportunity’ quite often when introducing our films to the Christian community in Australia. This is because we feel that a film like Bella coming to your local cinema presents the local church with an amazing way to connect with the community in telling powerful stories that can nudge people towards truth.

A group booking is a great way to achieve many goals.

Firstly it becomes an event that gives your church community a way to purchase tickets and take along family and friends.

Secondly, it can be an easy way to hold a successful fund raising event. We can assist you in acquiring tickets at a bulk rate allowing you to sell locally and raise a few dollars for every ticket sold.

Bella1As an added bonus, we include a $10 discount voucher for every person who attends a group booking.

If you would like to put together a group booking of Bella at your local cinema and its not on the Cinema locations list, visit our group bookings page and register your interest and we’ll work with you to try and bring the film to your preferred cinema so you and your group can take full advantage of this amazing movie.
