The
Bush/Blair road map will not work because Islam will have
to deny itself and allow the nation of Israel to exist.
The reason why Arafat would not accept 93% of the 'West Bank'
and a portion of East Jerusalem from Ehud Barak in 2000, was
because he believed he would be assassinated for accepting
Israel's right to exist.
One
has to have an understanding of the basic tenets of Islam
- that land once under Islamic control must remain under control
until doomsday - to understand that Islam will never accept
Israel's right to exist, therefore any plan requiring this
recognition, will never be totally accepted by the PA or any
other Islamic state.
