Is Same Sex Marriage becoming more accepted? - Charles W. Colson - July 2011
I trust you are not being taken in . . .
Taken in by the myth that because New York has adopted same-sex "marriage", it is inevitable the rest of the country will follow suit. This myth is being perpetrated by the media and gay-rights activists who know that if you say something over and over again, people will eventually believe it.
But it is a false claim.
Look at the record. So-called same-sex "marriage" is legal in only six states. In five of them, gay "marriage" was imposed by the state legislature, and in Iowa by state judges—several of whom were later removed by public recall.
Yet in the 31 states where the people were able to vote on so-called gay "marriage," it has been soundly defeated! And the Alliance Defense Fund has just released a poll in which 62 percent of Americans believe marriage should be reserved for one man and one woman!
