 Link-Zone exists to provide a resource that helps believers stay in touch with contemporary battles in our nation, Australia, and around the world.
We understand that trying to filter what is valuable from that which is not is considerably time consuming in this information age and therefore endeavour to aid this necessary discernment by carefully selecting articles that are culturally and spiritually relevant.
We actively seek out those who can:
- Equip us, by bringing a clear and concise understanding of the issues our day.
- Impact frontline areas of our nation that are in need of our support .
- Strengthen our faith in light of today's challenges.
You will notice that Link-Zone is not foremostly a NEWS website. We do feature news in our various columns but we are not focussed on the news for the sake of news itself.
The articles we select pertain to cultural battles or promote valuable resources, in particular those that relate to:
- The Value of life
- Freedom of Religion
- Freedom of Speech
- The Family
- Education
- Media & the Arts
- Israel
- The Persecuted Church
We take note of how these battles are played out in other nations and the consequential impact of this on Australia in order to use this information for events and resources that we are involved in creating..
We also actively support Frontline Christian Groups ... in recent years we have organised:
- Annual Police Appreciation Mornings for regional leaders of Churches & organisations
- Supported International Charities in Burma, Uganda, Chile and those caring for the Persecuted church worldwide
- Supported many frontline Australian ministries in their work
- Hosted A Life expo (in response to QLD's plans to decriminalise abortion)
- Organised meetings supportive of ministries involved in Israel
- Enabled numerous frontline missionaries/ministries to have a web presence
- Promoted and encouraged prayer for government and national issues
- The distribution & promotion of timely resources
- The creation of networking resources
- Meet Your Candidate Forums (for the ACL)
- Supported the distribution of Petitions and News alerts
- Supported many pro-life organisations
- Produced articles highlighting the work of Aussie frontliners
- Promoted Christian media
- Helped International ministries to promote their material / ministry in Australia
Link-Zone is always keen to support the work of Christians wanting to make a difference in our nation.
We are currently working on ways to maximise our networks and resources in order to establish local forums that will equip believers for today's battles. There are some fantastic ministries on our frontlines, those who have spent their lifetime becoming specialised and equipped in key areas. Our aim is to glean from their wisdom and insight in order to unite and equip specific interest groups within the body. Not just through the web but through seminars and forums also.
