The 'progressive' undermining of marriage and family took another three giant steps this week.

The ACT, Victoria and BOTH major parties
(Federal ALP and Liberal) helped same-sex relationship legalisation and registration become a virtual certainty across Australia.

Until now, the ALP has been supporting State based ‘Relationship Registers’, ... Labor sees this as an easy and safe compromise.

But ACT Chief Minister, Mr Stanhope, is inclined to be less accommodating. He wants a Civil Partnership and does not seem to want to settle for the lesser of 2 evils. Who will win?

With Liberal Opposition Leader Brendan Nelson stating he will support more homosexual benefits, as we reported earlier this week, Labor hopes to reach a consensus on removing discrimination against homosexuals and lesbians from all commonwealth legislation.

At 5pm today News.com reported that, ‘Mr Rudd said in Brisbane today it was Labor policy not to interfere with state and territory legislation.' "On these matters, state and territories are answerable to their own jurisdictions,''

Rudd won't veto ACT gay unions

If the previous Government had had such a blanket policy, ruling out intervention, we would now have legal euthanasia in the NT, Civil Unions in the ACT and who knows what else.

What brought about such a policy statement from Mr Rudd?

On 4 December 2007, ACT Chief Minister, Mr Stanhope, stated he intended to reintroduce his previously overturned Civil Partnership legislation. He said he will not back down on homosexual unions, and has warned his federal Labor colleagues against interfering in the ACT's business.

24 hrs later the Canberra Times reported that the ACT Government had announced that it will consider barring interstate couples from its same-sex unions to mollify the Federal Government.'
IS THAT ALL he will bargain with?

AND

The Australian reported that ATTORNEY-GENERAL Robert McClelland will meet his ACT counterpart, Simon Corbell, tomorrow (Friday) to discuss the homosexual civil union laws being promised by the ACT Government, and will ask the territory for co-operation in developing a national standard on civil partnerships.
Labor... talking Civil Partnerships? Or is this just the media ramping up the debate? Right now, who knows.
ALP call to unite on gay reforms

What does all this mean?

Quite simply that the slippery slope is getting more slippery - making it easier to 'progress' towards the total undermining of Marriage and the Natural Family. The only Labor government to actually say NO to same-sex 'registration', to date, is NSW.
How long that will last, as others, like the ACT and Victoria, capitulate to the homosexual lobby? Who knows.
Will Civil Unions or Relationship Registers prevent the progress towards same-sex marriage?
We, and many other groups, have consistently said NO, and today, the homosexual advocate who was largely responsible for Tasmania’s 'Relationship Register', Rodney Croome gave the answer.
He is reported by the ABC to have stated, "But at the same time, we should also in this country, allow same sex couples, if they wish, the opportunity to marry under federal law. We should have both. We should have relationship registries and equal marriage."

Give them an inch, they will take a mile? Have you heard that before?
Give them something they want and they won't want everything? Heard that one too?
Try telling that to Rodney Croome and his homosexual and lesbian friends.
Trust Mr Stanhope to follow the rules? I do not think so.

Wall to Wall Labor governments now leave us asking, "how long before we have wall to wall immorality?"
If Canberra is not going to stop Stanhope, they will NOT stop anybody.

WHAT NEXT
Homosexuality today – IVF and Surrogacy for single women and homosexuals tomorrow - Abortion on demand coming to your state SOON.
We need to plead with God for mercy and forgiveness
- He destroyed SODOM and GOMORRAH for tolerating and normalising sexual immorality (including homosexuality) - what will he do next to this nation?
