 Australian Christian Lobby begins Compass Australia
There is a great need in this nation to assist those students and recent graduates who demonstrate a high potential to become influential leaders for Christ across strategic areas of our nation including politics, law, media, science, education, arts and philosophy. The Compass program aims to address this need.
Compass Australia is a joint initiative of the Compass Foundation (an independent charitable trust - www.compass.org.nz) and the Australian Christian Lobby (www.acl.org.au).

The Compass experience seeks to seamlessly connect the Christian walk through Year 12 to university to graduation and ultimately to a career that will impact the world. Compass Australia has developed a special program for those high achievers. It involves an 8 day course at the University of Queensland from 20-27 January 2008 and then keeping students connected through special events, seminars and by linking tthem with appropriate vocational mentors who are well respected and established Christians at the top of their respective professions – politics, law, media, science, education, arts and philosophy.
Due to the targeted nature of this program Compass Australia will only accept nominations from Christian leaders who are in positions of authority (such as principals, teachers, denominational church leaders, para-church ministry leaders, university christian group leaders, university lecturers and chaplains) to handpick the most talented, passionate and committed students to take part in this program.
If you are a Christian leader who is in a position to nominate those students that show great potential to be trained as influential leaders then please think seriously about investing in their future.
