Terror, loss and acts of quiet courage have marked Australia's worst natural
disaster.
Victoria has witnessed its greatest natural disaster in history. Worse than
Black Friday. Worse than Ash Wednesday. This natural disaster has left many
homeless and devastated, taken over 180 lives and threatens to grow worse.
You can help ease the suffering of those who have been hit hardest and need
our help.
Baptcare, the Baptist Union of Victoria and the Baptist Union of Australia
are joining together to launch an emergency bushfire relief appeal to
provide funds to those affected by this terrible disaster.

The Emergency Bushfire Relief Fund will provide relief to families and
individuals through the following means:
* Emergency aid for food, clothing and personal needs
* Emergency accommodation
* Transitional community services that have been
interrupted by the bushfires eg child care
* Bereavement and counselling
This appeal has been established to provide emergency relief and will be
open for one month, until March 15th. Please give generously today to help
us ease the suffering of bushfire-stricken communities. All donations over
$2 are tax deductible.
