13 year old girls are TOO YOUNG to be photographed in the nude but 12 is NOT TOO YOUNG to be allowed to start SEX CHANGE ‘TREATMENT’ according to today’s ‘experts’

This would have to be one of the most appalling decisions we have encountered in 14 years of running Salt Shakers.
My first impression when reading this story yesterday was that if a 12 year old girl is so convinced she is a boy there has been some serious psychological damage done to this girl.
Yesterday it was obvious there had been a split between her mum and dad and today we are told of a mother so obsessed with wanting a boy that she was dressing her baby girl in BOYS clothes.
Following so closely on the furore over the removal of photographs of a nude 13 year old from a Sydney gallery, with police anticipating charges of indecently dealing with a minor, those same charges ought to be laid against the mother, the so-called ‘experts’ and the judge who have made this decision.
Did they not look closely at the family background – was this a case of simply accepting the theory that ‘you are what you think you are’?
Has anyone told this vulnerable young CHILD that the surgeons CANNOT make a fully functioning BOY from a GIRL?
Has anyone told her she will have to be on hormone ‘treatment’ HER WHOLE LIFE? Underneath whatever surgery she may eventually have she will ALWAYS BE A GIRL.
They say there is a chance she will commit suicide if she is not allowed to ‘be a boy’ – that alone should stir concern about psychological trauma in someone so young.
Even though they say she will not be allowed to have non-reversible ‘treatment’ until she is 18, the male hormone treatment she starts NOW will prevent normal puberty, prevent breast growth, build (male) body fat and the promote male body hair. As well there is the inevitable psychological damage that will be cemented into this girl’s character.
Apparently the mother has also been given permission to apply for a new passport and birth certificate NOW in the girls - boy identity!!!
Finally, there is NO evidence of biological factors being involved in Gender Identity Disorder (GID) – it is psychological. It should be treated psychologically – Surgery should never be the answer to problems of the mind regardless of the opinions by self-interested people like Sally Goldner who has had a 'gender re-assignment' and who made the preposterous suggestion that children as young as three experienced gender dysmorphia!!
Will we as a nation stand by and allow our vulnerable CHILDREN be abused in this way?
THIS ISSUE TO TOO IMPORTANT TO IGNORE.

Tell them all that …
- This decision is totally unacceptable.
- Twelve is TOO YOUNG to be even considering sex change operations that even ADULTS often regret having
- You believe this is CHILD ABUSE - Gender Identity Disorder is a psychological problem – not a biological one.
- Gender reassignment surgery is ALWAYS INCOMPLETE.
- If ONLY ‘experts’ who believe ‘you are what you THINK you are’ are involved then you only have one outcome.
- GID has become as politically correct as homosexuality and people who do not agree with it are shunned and often not even called as ‘expert’ today.
Please ask for a total review of the ‘science’ behind Gender re-assignment surgery before more abuse of this type is done to vulnerable people whether they be young children or adults.
